Responsibilities

• Draft plans and specifications for new construction.
• Liaison with local authorities to secure necessary permits.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations on-site.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders to communicate designs and project progress.
• Assist in project management responsibilities as needed.
• Provide advice on structural performance matters.
• Create and edit technical documentation for project transparency.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of structural engineering trends.
• Ensure all work complies with legislation and client requirements.
• Optimize designs for cost and safety effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)

Languages
