Job Description

As a Wind Tunnel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and managing the operation of wind tunnel equipment. Your role ensures the optimal functioning of wind tunnel systems while supporting critical testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks and repairs on wind tunnel equipment.
• Assist in calibrating sensors and instruments.
• Document maintenance procedures and create reports on performance metrics.
• Work closely with the engineering department to implement new testing setups.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and interns.
• Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and operating wind tunnel systems.
