Job Description

As an Architect at our firm, you will play a crucial role in project delivery from conception through to completion. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure each project is executed to the highest standard, while adhering to budget and time constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive architectural designs and drawings.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision.
  • Coordinate with engineers and contractors throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for client meetings.
  • Stay updated on architectural trends and technologies.
  • Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for project development.
  • Mentor junior staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
