We are currently seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning, with a passion for solving complex problems through data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and derive insights.
• Create machine learning models to enhance business performance.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for data infrastructure needs.
• Present analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Handle large volumes of data to ensure timely and efficient reporting.
• Mentor junior data analysts and interns as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data science or analytics
