Job Description

As an International Travel Consultant, you will provide expert advice to clients on travel arrangements, ensuring that each client's experience is seamless and enjoyable. You will be responsible for researching the best destinations, booking flights, accommodations, and transportation, while also addressing any queries that clients may have.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
• Provide stellar customer service throughout the travel planning process.
• Stay updated with hospitality industry trends and international travel guidelines.
• Manage client relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure that the travel experience is flawless.
• Utilize a variety of reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently.
• Deliver pre- and post-travel support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and feedback to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field

Experience

• Prior experience in the travel industry, specifically in international travel consulting, is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Travel booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)
• Microsoft Office Suite

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
