We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both general and specialized veterinary medicine, providing exceptional medical care to our furry patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surgeries and emergency procedures as required.
• Participate in continuing education to remain proficient in veterinary techniques.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Specialization in veterinary surgery or emergency care preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical practice in veterinary medicine

Certifications
