We are seeking a proactive Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cloud-based infrastructures and ensuring system availability. Your expertise will help us to optimize application performance and automate operations to enhance our service reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system health and performance metrics for corrective action.
• Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Work with developers to establish best practices for system design.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for operational excellence.
• Engage in proactive monitoring and alerting to pre-empt service disruptions.
• Implement security protocols for cloud resources.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to improving system design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in site reliability or cloud engineering
