Job Description

As a Tax Specialist at Confidential Tax Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, analyzing regulations, and providing expert advice to clients. You will work closely with individuals and businesses to minimize tax liabilities and maximize refunds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure tax laws are followed.
• Support clients through tax planning to improve financial performance.
• Assist in preparing tax provisions and process improvements.
• Ensure timely remittance of tax liabilities.
• Provide professional advice to clients regarding tax implications of their business decisions.
• Monitor changes in legislation affecting taxation and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours degree or CA(SA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA)
• Tax Practitioner registered with SARS

Languages
