Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to join our innovative team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable solutions that address environmental challenges while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on new technologies to improve sustainability.
• Develop comprehensive environmental management plans.
• Partner with team members to enhance energy efficiency efforts.
• Prepare and submit permits for environmental projects.
• Provide expert advice on environmental regulations and compliance.
• Facilitate workshops and training on sustainable practices.
• Cultivate partnerships with environmental NGOs and governmental bodies.
• Review and revise environmental policies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental projects
