Job Description

As a General Practitioner at our Pietermaritzburg facility, you will deliver quality healthcare services to patients of all ages. You will conduct examinations, diagnose diseases, and provide treatment plans, emphasizing preventative care to enhance community health.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and physical exams.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures when necessary.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diseases and wellness practices.
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine will be advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a general practice setting

• Primary Care Management

• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
