Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Well Field Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining well field equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while promoting efficient water resource management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on well field equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented accurately.
• Work closely with the management team to develop maintenance schedules.
• Assist in health and safety audits to ensure compliance.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance for improvement.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with well field equipment.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic systems knowledge
• Technical documentation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Flexibility

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with borehole drilling equipment: Previous experience with borehole drilling and installation is advantageous.
• First aid training: Training in first aid and emergency response is beneficial.
