As a Supply Chain Coordinator in Cape Town, you will play a pivotal role in managing our supply chain activities. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has a passion for logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily supply chain operations and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Assist in budget management for supply chain activities.
• Collaborate in the development of supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Assist with risk management in the supply chain process.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Technical Skills

• Strategic Sourcing
• Supply Chain Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Import/Export Regulations: Knowledge of regulations impacting international logistics.
