We are on the lookout for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing various structural projects, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative engineering solutions and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve design calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design integration.
• Evaluate existing structures for upgrades and renovations.
• Utilise software tools for structural modelling and analysis.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices in sustainable design.
• Conduct risk assessments for structural projects.
• Mentor junior engineers in design principles and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering
