Join our vibrant pet grooming salon in Durban as a Pet Groomer! Your responsibilities will include bathing, clipping, and grooming pets, as well as ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have experience and a genuine love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming tasks including washing, drying, and styling dogs and cats.
• Assess pets for health issues and report to pet owners.
• Keep grooming tools and facility in top condition.
• Explain grooming processes and aftercare to clients.
• Handle pets gently and reassure them during the grooming process.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff for any health-related issues that arise.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Animal Care or Grooming is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pet grooming or related field

Technical Skills

• Grooming Techniques
• Pet First Aid

Certifications

• Pet CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
