Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will assess health needs and develop initiatives to promote community health. You will work closely with various stakeholders to implement effective health programs aimed at improving the overall health of our population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive public health assessments.
• Design and implement health education initiatives.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on health projects.
• Facilitate community forums to discuss health issues.
• Utilize data to inform health program decisions.
• Develop partnerships with other health organizations.
• Train staff and volunteers on public health practices.
• Conduct epidemiological research to track health issues.
• Provide reports and updates to the director on program status.
• Enhance the visibility of public health initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in public health or related areas
