Responsibilities

  • Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose issues.
  • Perform restorative and cosmetic procedures.
  • Manage pain and anxiety using appropriate techniques.
  • Advise on the care of teeth and preventative measures.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and monitor patient progress.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Collaborate with specialists when advanced treatment is needed.
  • Ensure the clinic is maintained in accordance with standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery or equivalent
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
