Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician based in Cape Town to join our growing team. This role involves providing top-notch technical support, managing IT systems, and ensuring that our technology runs smoothly for all users. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service while troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Assist users with application and system-related inquiries.
  • Setup and maintain remote access solutions for users.
  • Work with vendors to resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for staff on new technologies.
  • Participate in IT projects, assisting with implementation and support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT trends and best practices.
  • Address any security vulnerabilities identified in the system.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Systems or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
