We are actively seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Durban. This role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and solutions. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of cloud services, infrastructure as code, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy robust cloud solutions using services like AWS or Azure.
• Automate cloud operations through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Ensure compliance with cloud governance and management policies.
• Engage in capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Participate in incident response activities and post-mortem analyses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years experience in cloud solutions and architecture

Technical Skills

• CloudFormation
• Kubernetes

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
