Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing projects that ensure compliance with environmental regulations while promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve the sustainability of projects.
• Develop partnerships for environmental initiatives.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Conduct research on environmental technologies and practices.
• Prepare grant proposals for environmental projects.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders in an engaging manner.
• Identify funding opportunities for environmental initiatives.
• Conduct workshops and training for community members.
• Implement strategies for reducing carbon footprints.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar field
• Advanced degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role preferred
