We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with specialists for advanced patient care.
• Facilitate continuity of care during patient transfers.
• Perform wound care and assist with rehabilitation.
• Implement infection control procedures to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Lead nursing shift reports and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing (BCur) or higher degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in critical care nursing

Technical Skills

• Emergency Response
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Infection Control: Certification that indicates expertise in infection prevention and control procedures.
