Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to patients in Port Elizabeth. You will be tasked with dispensing medication, advising on drug interactions, and supporting our healthcare initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing comprehensive medication counseling to patients.
  • Monitoring patient health and progress to adapt medication use.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
  • Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Conducting health screenings and providing immunizations.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of medications.
  • Training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
  • Working with insurance companies to resolve medication coverage issues.
  • Participating in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
