Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Editor for our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in editing technical documents and be adept at translating complex content into user-friendly materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical editing process for all company publications.
  • Draft and revise content based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain a central repository of editing guidelines and resources.
  • Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather insights for documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends to enhance content relevance.
  • Create training sessions for new writers on best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops to foster collaboration among content creators.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Communications or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience with a focus on technical and scientific editing
