Product Designer

Job Description

As a Product Designer based in Cape Town, you'll be instrumental in our mission to create engaging digital products. We're looking for someone who excels in understanding user needs through research and can translate those insights into beautiful, user-friendly designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be integral to shaping the user interface and overall experience of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Led the design process from ideation to implementation for multiple projects.
• Create and iterate on wireframes and prototypes according to user research insights.
• Ensure that all designs are accessible and inclusive for all users.
• Provide clear documentation of design processes to maintain transparency within the team.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to creatively solve design challenges.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing design projects to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools

Certifications

• Design Thinking Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
