We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and a passion for automation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructures, facilitating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability of services. This role requires both technical prowess and a collaborative spirit as you work closely with developers and IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment of applications and infrastructure updates.
• Design and implement resilient cloud architectures.
• Enhance automation capabilities within existing workflows.
• Act as a point of contact for cloud infrastructure matters.
• Evaluate and recommend tools to improve development processes.
• Engage in capacity planning and performance tuning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field

Experience

• 2-4 years in cloud-based environments and DevOps practices

Languages

Advantageous
