Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Data Scientist in Cape Town, where you will apply your expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning. You will be responsible for managing data pipelines, performing complex analyses, and presenting your findings to improve business processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data models to forecast business outcomes.
• Extract, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources to inform business decisions.
• Assist in designing experiments and conducting A/B tests for product development.
• Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders in easily understandable terms.
• Optimize data pipeline and leverage Big Data technologies where needed.
• Collaborate on data governance and policy related initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and share knowledge across teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related discipline
• Master's degree in Data Science or Computational Statistics is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of practical data analysis or data science experience
