Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status through interviews and examinations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for integrated care.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with practice regulations.
• Provide counseling and education on health issues.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor health improvements.
• Engage in continuous education to enhance professional skills.
• Contribute to the development of health programs in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current South African Nursing Council registration required

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Management
• Clinical Procedures

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or other local languages is a plus.
• Public health experience: Experience with community health initiatives and education programs.
