Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will engage in environmental assessments, advise clients on compliance with environmental regulations, and implement sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and collect environmental data.
• Draft and review environmental management plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist in the development of mitigation strategies for identified environmental risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices.
• Engage in fieldwork and site inspections as necessary.
• Support project management efforts from inception to completion.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on environmental findings and compliance measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related roles
