Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects at our Port Elizabeth facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing chemical processes, ensuring safety compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize simulation software to model chemical processes.
  • Perform quality control tests to ensure product consistency.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Participate in external audits and inspections as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years in a chemical engineering role, ideally within manufacturing
