Air Export Agent

Job Description

The Air Export Agent is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of air freight shipments. You will ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time, and that shipments reach their destination efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor air freight shipments from start to finish.
• Work with customers to determine air export needs.
• Provide customs clearance support and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure the best rates for shipments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process.
• Assist with training new team members on processes and systems.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Diploma or degree in logistics or supply chain management

Experience

• Experience in international trade and customs procedures is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• CRM Software
• Import/Export Regulations Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in the Logistics Industry: Background in logistics operations, preferably in air freight forwarding.
