Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage various civil engineering projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and engineering principles, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from design through completion.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure project delivery is on track.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
  • Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior project team members.
  • Document project progress through detailed reporting.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with clients and address their needs promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in civil engineering.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in civil project management
