Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects in Durban. You will utilize your expertise to design and implement structural systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural plans and schematics using advanced engineering software.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing issues as they arise.
• Review and approve shop drawings and plans from contractors.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes and regulations.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and interns in structural engineering principles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineering registration is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering
