Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in network architecture.
• Develop incident response strategies and prepare for potential security breaches.
• Review system and network logs to detect abnormal patterns or intrusions.
• Engage with external partners to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
• Conduct penetration tests and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
• Oversee the deployment of security updates and patches.
• Collaborate in the development of cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or a related field
• Masters degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity
