We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fashion design and a passion for creating fashionable, trend-setting clothing. You will be responsible for sketching designs, selecting fabrics, and collaborating with production teams to bring your creative ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Sketch and illustrate designs for clothing lines and accessories.
• Evaluate and select materials that enhance the overall design.
• Work collaboratively with the design team to conceptualize new ideas.
• Present designs to management and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
• Lead the fittings and make alterations to ensure the final product matches the design vision.
• Stay updated with fashion trends and relevant technologies.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies based on the latest collections.
• Ensure design consistency throughout all collections and seasons.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Master's degree in Design is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fashion

Languages

• English: Fluent
