Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary and specialized care to patients while contributing to the overall mission of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health issues.
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform minor procedures as required.
• Review and update patient healthcare plans regularly.
• Collaborate with specialists for optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Registered Nurse qualification

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with 2+ years as a Nurse Practitioner

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Proficient in using EMR systems for efficient patient documentation.
