Quilting Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quilting Supervisor to lead our quilting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quilting processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output in our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the quilting team.
• Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of quilting machinery.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Provide training and feedback to operators based on performance.
• Implement new processes to improve production workflow.
• Ensure all safety standards are met within the department.
• Communicate effectively with other supervisors regarding production needs.
• Generate and submit reports on department performance and any challenges faced.
• Support the integration of new technologies in the quilting process.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Textiles or Manufacturing Management

Experience

• 7+ years in a related supervisory role

Technical Skills

• Computerized Quilting Equipment
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

Soft Skills

• Team Development
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
