Job Description

As a Data Insights Manager in Sandton, you will lead a team of analysts to transform data into meaningful insights. Your role will be crucial in driving data-driven decisions that impact our business strategy and product development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection processes, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Design and implement predictive models to forecast market trends and customer demands.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets and draw insights.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of data analysis projects and implement improvements where necessary.
• Present findings to clients and executives, making recommendations based on data insights.
• Work closely with IT to ensure adequate data infrastructure and tools are in place.
• Write and maintain documentation for data processes and methodologies utilized.
• Identify training needs within the team and provide appropriate educational resources.
• Lead workshops and seminars to promote data literacy within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a data-driven role or similar
