Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement lessons that meet educational standards.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Establish and enforce rules for behaviour in the classroom.
• Nurture a positive, respectful classroom culture.
• Engage in continuous professional learning and improvement.
• Collaborate with staff to support school-wide initiatives.
• Utilize assessment data to guide instructional decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Honours or Master's in Education is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of teaching experience preferred

• Classroom Management

Certifications

• SACE Registration (South African Council for Educators)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient

Advantageous

• Knowledge of African Languages: Ability to speak and teach in one or more African languages.
• Experience with extracurricular activities: Background in coaching or facilitating clubs and sports.
