We are hiring an Actuarial Analyst in Cape Town to help manage and mitigate financial risks through data analysis and predictive modelling. Ideal candidates will have a sound understanding of actuarial science, be driven to produce high-quality work, and possess excellent analytical skills to inform decision-making processes across departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical loss data to identify patterns and trends.
• Work with various teams to set up new actuarial models and tools.
• Conduct sensitivity testing to forecast potential financial impacts.
• Provide training and support to junior analysts in the department.
• Participate in annual actuarial valuations and audits.

Advantageous

• Proficiency in other programming languages (e.g., SQL, VBA): Ability to work with data across multiple platforms.
• Experience in a consulting role: Experience providing actuarial consulting services to clients.
