Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Doctor to join our thriving practice in Durban. You will work closely with a team of professionals to provide medical services to pets and other animals. Responsibilities include diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and offering preventative care.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to diagnose health problems.
  • Oversee and perform surgical operations.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners.
  • Keep up-to-date with veterinary best practices and regulations.
  • Conduct health check-ups and wellness exams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and treatment options.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools for accurate assessment of animal health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice
