Job Description

We are seeking a Factory Production Lead in Johannesburg to manage daily production activities and ensure adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production line staff and manage performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational workflows.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management meetings.
• Manage inventory and control stock levels.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
• Drive initiatives for operational excellence and process improvement.
• Facilitate communication between factory teams and upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in factory production, with 2 years in a leadership role
