We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background to support our financial planning and decision-making processes. Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Generate financial models to support project evaluations and capital expenditures.
• Monitor financial performance indicators and report significant deviations.
• Conduct financial analysis and scenario planning for new initiatives.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholders, including financial summaries.
• Review and improve financial processes for efficiency.
• Facilitate cross-departmental communication for better budget alignment.
• Lead quarterly financial reviews, providing insights and updates.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a financial analyst role
