Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Engineer to join our forward-thinking team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects and project managers to design, implement, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project proposals and feasibility analyses to provide technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to brainstorm and implement engineering solutions.
• Develop and monitor project timelines and allocate resources effectively.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Lead post-project evaluations and propose enhancements for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles

• Civil Engineering Principles
