Job Description

Looking for a motivated Public Health Officer ready to make an impact in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for developing and executing health programs that address critical health issues within the community. Strong analytical and communication skills will be essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives aimed at disease prevention and health promotion.
• Conduct surveys and research to gather data on public health concerns.
• Implement strategies to improve access to healthcare services.
• Provide training and support to community health workers.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with health agencies and organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Global Health is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health program management or evaluation

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software
• Health Policy Knowledge

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
