Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to approaches.
  • Document therapy sessions and prepare clinical reports as required.
  • Build rapport and trust with clients, creating a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Educate clients and the community about mental health issues and resources available.
  • Assist in developing mental health programmes tailored to the community's needs.
  • Stay informed on current research and advancements in psychology.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Psychology
  • HPCSA registration mandatory
Experience
  • At least 5 years of post-registration experience with diverse populations.
