UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a creative and talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and enhancing the user experience of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an eye for detail, ensuring that our products are not only functional but visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex user needs into intuitive user experiences.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback.
• Ensure designs are accessible and adhere to best practices.
• Document design processes and maintain style guides.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials relevant to the design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related discipline
• Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in UI/UX design, including mobile applications

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• User Empathy

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in user testing: Ability to plan and conduct user testing sessions.
