Job Description

We are on the hunt for a creative and talented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping and enhancing the user experience of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an eye for detail, ensuring that our products are not only functional but visually appealing.

Responsibilities

  • Research competitor products to inform design decisions.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions.
  • Assist in the optimization of existing interfaces for better performance.
  • Interface with other teams to ensure a cohesive experience across platforms.
  • Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance design skills.
  • Promote a user-centered design approach within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related discipline
  • Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years in UI/UX design, including mobile applications

Certifications
  • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
  • UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group
Languages
