Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist in our organization, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome daily challenges through effective rehabilitation strategies. This position involves close interaction with clients to understand their needs and working continuously to improve their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop tailored therapy interventions.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care delivery.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to measure the impact of interventions.
• Train and supervise occupational therapy assistants.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Contribute to departmental policies and procedures related to occupational therapy.
• Build strong relationships with patients to foster trust and collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
