We are seeking a proactive Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The role requires a keen understanding of local tax regulations and a knack for providing tailored tax solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in both individual and corporate taxation, ensuring compliance and maximizing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate and personal tax returns.
• Provide comprehensive tax consultations to a diverse client base.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Plan and implement tax-efficient strategies for clients.
• Assist in managing client accounts and building long-term relationships.
• Provide support for tax audits and inquiries from SARS.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years in a tax-related role or accounting

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Accounting Software Proficiency

Certifications

• SARS Certification
• Discipline in Taxation

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
