The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of South African tax laws and the ability to provide insightful tax planning strategies to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and providing high-quality tax advisory services, which are crucial to our clients' financial well-being.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' financial situations in order to provide tax advice.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor tax developments and assess their impact on clients.
• Contribute to team meetings and collaborative projects.
• Prepare presentations and reports on tax planning strategies.
• Support business development efforts through client meetings.
• Assist in training sessions for internal staff on tax issues.
• Gather feedback from clients to improve service offerings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Additional qualifications in Taxation are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax consulting or similar roles
