Wind Farm Support Specialist

Job Description

In the role of Wind Farm Support Specialist, you will handle technical support and maintenance services for wind farms. You will work closely with engineers and technicians, leveraging your strong knowledge of wind turbine systems to optimise performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of wind turbines to ensure reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Work with the engineering team to implement improvements on wind turbine performance.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Engage in continuous education to keep abreast of technological advancements.
• Assist with the implementation of health and safety protocols.
• Support the training of new operational staff.
• Participate in project management related to wind farm upgrades.
• Develop maintenance schedules and ensure their effective execution.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field
• Additional certifications in renewable energy systems are preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in wind farm operations and maintenance is highly desirable.
