Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights that will assist in strategic decision-making. This role requires a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to interpret complex data into understandable formats.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement financial models to support decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare budget and forecast reports for review.
• Deliver presentations to communicate financial insights.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Continuously improve financial reporting processes.
• Assist in establishing financial KPIs and performance metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and practices.
• Support training of junior team members in financial analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree or additional certifications preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or analysis
